‘Life Drawing Long Pose‘ for members of the Noosa Arts and Crafts Association – Wallace House, Noosa.

I will be convening the sessions and providing the group with what I think may be a helpful handbook offering some guidelines for our sessions. I’ve picked up a number of tips for how to optise these sessions having managed others in the past.
Our ‘life model’ will hold the same pose for a number of weeks and we will ensure lots of breaks for both model and participating artists. I’m always on the look out for fabulous models so if you know any, please feel free to contact me at : info@sylvicearterartist.com.
I’ve just purchased a some black block out fabric from Spotlight as well as backdrop fabric for behind the model. Plus a few meters of black velvet which I aim use to drap over cushions, plinths etc. The lighting will be carefully directed to bring focus.
I am conscious of having our model hold the pose comfortably and impel creativity in a safe and engaging space for the artists, so they feel inspired to explore, study and learn. We will be considering the figurative works and mark making of the masters. So super pumped to kick this off and will keep you posted.
