Painting in the Hinterland at Flame Hill Winery

Coming up for the Hinterland Plein Air Painters! This friday we are off to explore and paint the views at the fabulous Flame Hill Winery at 249 Western Ave, Montville QLD 4560.

This has to be one of my favourite places to visit. Not only is the wine and atmosphere great but the views are a dream for any artist. As you arrive you drive down the winding road, you will pass the 3 bedroom Flame Hill accommodation cottage, a fields of cows and the bluff before reaching the Cellar Door car park. Super easy to navigate. The restaurant is set inside a large decked area with stunning views every way you look, including the colourful chickens that roam the vineyards. Our group of Hinternald artists will definately paint at this location again so for more information check out Facebook Hinterland Plein Air Painters.

This was my painting from my last visit. Can’t wait to go back!
