I am passionate about preserving endangered species and the protecting the environment. After listening to a life changing interview on the ABC Radio program I took up the challenge to no longer purchase products that use palm oil in them. I also found that it was so easy to take action to help protect the endangered orangutans, who have the most adorable and interesting of faces and personalities, not to mention intellects.
As a portrait artist I could not go past the story of the adorable young ophan orangutan, ‘Crystal‘. I look forward to learning more about her and the incredible work of the Orangutan Foundation International, Australia. Stay tuned as I bring you updates into a new portrait project with Kobe and the orangutans in 2022.
